Tramontina Polywood 6" Cleaver, Stainless Steel

Broke down a whole chicken and some pork ribs on the first try, and the blade held its edge the entire time. The aluminum rivets in the handle feel really secure, and it's got a reassuring heft that makes chopping through bone feel effortless. For the price, this cleaver is an absolute workhorse.

I've been using this cleaver for breaking down chickens and the stainless steel blade is holding its edge better than my old one. The polywood handle has a nice weight that makes it feel solid in my hand without being too heavy.

Nice, solid weight for a cleaver, and that treated polywood handle hasn't loosened up at all after a month of breaking down chicken. The stainless blade is holding its edge fine, though it's not the sharpest out of the box. Good value for the price.
